A Virginia mansion previously owned by actor Robert Duvall is on the market for a cool $3.7 million.
Located at 20385 Beaverdam Bridge Road in Purcellville, the Quaker-built Fieldstone Manor home was originally built in 1820 and sits on 33 acres, the listing by Washington Fine Properties says.
It’s 5,542 square feet with five bedrooms and five bathrooms.
The estate itself is known as Butchers Run and boasts an 8-stall courtyard barn, a pool, a stone spring house, three-car garage, an exercise studio, and separate, secluded log cabin with two ponds.
Listing agent Shannon Gilmore says Duvall owned and lived in the home from 1985 to 1995, having put it up for sale in 1994. His sister-in-law at the time, realtor Yvonne Duvall, was the listing agent, Gilmore said citing an article in the “Washington Times.”
“Butcher’s Run has had many notable owners and is believed to have been a Quaker home where Friends would hold their meetings,” Gilmore noted.
