Advocates fight to fix ‘loophole’ in DUI law requiring car breathalyzers

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Advocates are calling for a fix to a loophole in the law requiring penalties for DUI offenders. Under the 2016 Noah’s Law, a person convicted of alcohol-related offenses is required to have an ignition interlock system installed in their vehicle, requiring them to pass a breathalyzer test before the car will start.
