RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The Biden-Harris Administration has announced that many Virginia airport terminals will receive funding for infrastructure improvements, which will reportedly improve passenger experience, accessibility and sustainability.
According to Pete Buttigieg, Secretary of Transportation, Dulles International Airport in Loudoun County will receive $35 million in funding for a 14 gate, 400,000-square-foot terminal building, including connections to the Aerotrain and an indirect connection to the Metrorail silver line.
Norfolk International Airport will also receive about $6.5 million to fund the construction of a new Federal Inspection Service facility.

- Charlottesville‐Albemarle: $2,976,334
- Roanoke/Blacksburg Regional (Woodrum Field): $2,917,043
- Newport News/Williamsburg International: $1,934,436
- Lynchburg Regional/Preston Glenn Field: $1,281,601
- Shenandoah Valley Regional: $1,007,091
