The Washington Commanders are sitting comfortably at 3-1 as they prepare to take on the Cleveland Browns in Week 5. Rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels has been the driving force behind Washington’s early success, impressing fans and analysts alike.

His dynamic play , including an NFL-leading 82.1 percent completion rate, has some people questioning whether Daniels deserves a spot in the MVP conversation. However, not everyone is convinced, including former NFL quarterback Dan Orlovsky.

The former quarterback, famous for running out of the back of the end zone for a safety while playing for the Detroit Lions in 2008, has shared his opinion on whether or not Daniels deserves to even be in the conversation for MVP. One thing can be guaranteed when it comes to Orlovsky MVP takes: Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is always in the conversation.

During a recent episode of First Take , Orlovsky expressed skepticism about Daniels’ MVP chances.

“Top three would be Justin Jefferson one, Sam Darnold two, and probably Josh Allen three,” Orlovsky said as host Stephen A. Smith looked on in disbelief.
