Police: Man robbed by 2 people at Dumfries Motel 6

DUMFRIES, Va. ( DC News Now ) — The Prince William County Police Department (PWCPD) said that officers were investigating after a 56-year-old man was robbed near the Motel 6 on Dumfries Road over the weekend.

PWCPD officers responded to the motel around 5:55 a.m. on Oct. 19 for the robbery. Police said that the victim, a 56-year-old man, reported that he was helping a woman with a broken-down vehicle when a man approached him.

The victim reported that the man brandished a gun and demanded his property before leaving with the woman. The suspects took a phone and money.

Police said that no injuries were reported. As of Monday, no arrests had been made.
