Montgomery county Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a car fire on Rockville Pike and Tuckerman Lane in North Bethesda at approximately 7:30pm Friday evening. According to MCFRS Chief Spokesperson Pete Piringer on Saturday morning, Rockville Pike was blocked during extinguishment & cleanup. We are not aware of any injuries. The intersection was closed for approximately one hour on Friday evening, but all lanes have since opened.
