GAITHERSBURG, Md. (WJW) – Police in Maryland said they are investigating the death of a woman whose daughter called 911 and said she had killed her.
According to the Montgomery County Department of Police , Tiffany Zhang, 29, called 911 at about 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 4.

According to a news release, she told dispatchers that she had killed her mother Guichun Hu, 63, the previous day.
Police said she told dispatchers that she left her mother’s body outside their home in a nearby field.
Police found the daughter and the mother at the scene.

Guichun Hu was pronounced dead. Zhang was taken into custody on a charge of first-degree murder.
An autopsy is underway to determine her cause of death.
