Jayden Daniels predicted to win Offensive Rookie of the Year

The Washington Commander s are riding high, mostly from the success of their star rookie quarterback. In just 10 weeks, Jayden Daniels has taken over the spotlight in Washington, leading his team to a 7-2 record and in the fight for the NFC East crown. They’re currently in first place and will have to fend off the Philadelphia Eagles down the stretch to take the division title.

Daniels’ play has earned him national recognition, with some analysts going as far as to say he could win MVP. While that’s certainly a bold statement, he’s definitely on his way to an Offensive Rookie of the Year award. Daniels has thrown for 1,945 yards with nine touchdowns and two touchdowns. He’s also rushed for 459 yards and four touchdowns.

The No. 2 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft could legitimately challenge Lamar Jackson for the MVP award. Right now, he’s running away with Offensive Rookie of the Year. Daniels’ ridiculous production and clutch factor suggest he is wise beyond his years, with the talent to take over the game as a runner or passer when needed. As a high completion percentage passer with a master’s degree in efficiency (71.5 percent completion rate and 106.7 passer rating), the Commanders’ QB1 could be the new gold standard for rookie quarterbacks.
