LEESBURG, Va. – A special election will take place on January 7, 2025, to fill the Virginia Senate seat in the 32nd District, which has become vacant following the resignation of Suhas Subramanyam. Subramanyam, who served in the Virginia Senate, is stepping down to represent Virginia in the U.S. Congress. The special election, set to be held in Loudoun County, will determine the next state senator to represent the district.
