Three additional people arrested in connection to deadly Manassas shooting

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. ( DC News Now ) — The Prince William County Police Department (PWPD) said it has arrested three additional people in connection to a deadly shooting that happened in November.

On Nov. 23 around 9 p.m., police responded to the 8000 block of Stream Walk Lane in the Manassas area to investigate a shooting.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man in a parking lot who had been shot. The man died there.

He was identified as Horace Roy Johnson, 45, of no fixed address.

Police said the suspect and victim were involved in a physical altercation that escalated. During the incident, the suspect pulled out a gun and shot Johnson multiple times.

As the investigation developed, officers found and arrested the suspect, Zahir Adbul-Rahman Mujahid, early the next morning in the Manassas area.

On Nov. 23, police identified three additional suspects involved in the incident.

According to police, between Dec. 13 and 18, officers arrested Ravyn Simone Tidwell, Tazwell Nathaniel Blankenbaker, and Nicholas Aaron Rojeski in connection to the shooting.
