GAITHERSBURG, Md. ( DC News Now ) — The New Year is off to a fresh and busy start at two Adventist HealthCare hospitals in Maryland as families welcome their new bundles of joy into the world.
Adventist HealthCare said that just 13 minutes into 2025, the Adventist HealthCare Shady Grove Medical Center welcomed its first baby.
The baby boy was born into a family from Rockville and weighed 8 lbs.

The Rockville family said they are sticking with their family’s tradition, sharing the baby’s name at a later time.
