Southeast DC residents say they have no working heat or hot water.

WASHINGTON — Several Southeast DC residents reached out to WUSA9 after they claimed to be living without heat and hot water for days in freezing temperatures.

Davinia Myles-Simmons told WUSA9 her apartment is riddled with mold, roaches, a broken window, and no heat or hot water. She’s lived at Parkway House for 10 years.

Her husband, who is recovering from spinal surgery, relies on a heating pad to stay warm. Simmons said management has ignored her requests for repairs…
