COTTAGE CITY, Md. – An Uber driver who was shot multiple times on New Year’s Day in Cottage City has died from his injuries, authorities said.
Prince George’s County Police identified the victim as 36-year-old Oluwatosin Adetula of Hyattsville.
Adetula was working as a rideshare driver when he was shot around 10:40 p.m. on January 1 in the 3300 block of Bladensburg Road. Officers found him in a parking lot suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition but succumbed to his injuries six days later, on January 7.…
