Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a vehicle fire around 11 a.m. on Thursday involving a mail delivery vehicle on Butterwick Way, off East Village Avenue in Montgomery Village.
According to Chief Spokesperson for MCFRS Pete Piringer, crews quickly extinguished the blaze, with no injuries reported. The fire appeared to have originated in the engine compartment.
