The Montgomery County Police Department has released additional information regarding a fatal shooting that occurred Saturday morning in Silver Spring.
According to MCPD, “Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division are investigating the homicide of 23-year-old Jonah Kimindo Mutua, of Silver Spring, that occurred on Saturday, March 8, 2025, in the 2700 block of Fairdale Terrace. Detectives are asking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
