ARLINGTON, Va. (7News) — The Virginia Department of Workforce Development and Advancement announced more than 4,000 unemployment insurance claims were filed in the first week of March, and several hundred of those claims came from federal workers.
Right now, Northern Virginia leaders are bracing for federal workforce cuts as President Donald Trump seeks to make to the federal government he said would be more efficient and less costly to taxpayers.
