LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. (7News) — Virginia lawmakers sent legislation this year to Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin that would require schools to notify parents within 24 hours of when a suspected student overdose happens in school or during school-connected events and activities.
The deadline for the governor to sign, veto, and amend legislation is midnight Monday.
