VIDEO: Driver caught speeding 111 MPH tells Fairfax Co. officer, ‘I just want to go home’

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (7News) — A driver was pulled over in Fairfax County, Virginia, for going more than twice the speed limit last weekend, telling the officer their reason for speeding was simply, “I just want to go home.”

The Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD) said the incident happened on March 23 when an officer clocked the driver going 111 mph in a 55 mph zone.
