Authorities say Joel Brown broke into a Fairfax collectibles shop on March 14 while disguised head-to-toe in a Spider-Man suit. The target? Gaming Giant, a family-run store specializing in anime, Pokémon, and other sought-after trading cards.
According to police and store sources, Brown reportedly scoped out the shop earlier during regular business hours. He allegedly asked pointed questions about specific graded cards linked to fan-favorite franchises like Dragon Ball Z, One Piece, and Pokémon. These premium cards were stored securely in locked cases—until that night.
