Sterling Man Charged With Arson After Setting Fire to Occupied Room

Sterling, Virginia — A Sterling man has been arrested and charged with arson after allegedly setting fire to an occupied room in a residential building on Holiday Drive, authorities said.

Fire and rescue crews responded to a report of a fire in the 45000 block of Holiday Drive on March 19, shortly after noon. Upon arrival, firefighters found that a door to an occupied room had been intentionally set on fire.
