Another person is facing charges for harboring a man who was arrested with many warrants out of Delaware and Maryland. Charged with misdemeanor impeding apprehension or prosecution, Hyla Shy Davis remains free and awaits a preliminary hearing on April 29th.
On March 7th, members of the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office learned that somebody wanted in Delaware and Maryland may be living in the Waynesboro region. Brett Davis, according to the FCSO, was wanted on charges of theft of a motor vehicle, agreement to engage in felony criminal conduct, third-degree assault, disregarding a police officer signal, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, CDS possession of marijuana 10 grams, and unlawful firearm transfer or possession. The FCSO suspected Davis was in an apartment on Norwood Avenue in Blue Ridge Summit.
When police arrived at about 11 a.m. on March 7th, they reported that no one was at the residence. A black vehicle pulled up while they were there, and they identified the driver as Hyla Davis.
