VIDEO: Police sniff out high-end fragrance thieves operating in Northern Virginia, Maryland

Detectives have taken down an organized retail theft operation targeting luxury fragrances at Ulta stores in Fairfax, Prince William and two counties in Maryland, Fairfax County police announced Friday.

The criminal crew, police say, has been linked to thefts dating back to last summer, with losses of more than $190,000.

During the thefts, the suspects entered the businesses, stole high-end fragrances and fled prior to police arrival, Fairfax County Police Chief Kevin Davis said at a news conference…
