FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (7News) — The Fairfax County Sheriff’s Office is pressing charges against Denis Humberto Navarette Romero for willfully damaging his cell to escape from the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.
Navarette, who police said is in the United States illegally, was being held in the Fairfax County jail for charges related to allegedly raping a woman on the W&OD trail last year in Herndon.
