LEESBURG, Va. ( DC News Now ) — The Loudoun County Animal Services (LCAS) said it was “just a morning in Leesburg” after two lost horses were safely reunited with their owners on Tuesday.
LCAS said someone reported a loose horse out on the town. LCAS’s Humane Law Enforcement responded to the report and found the horse strolling near Tuscarora High School.
After the horse was rangled, a second one “popped up” and was “casually strolling down the street,” LCAS said.

The two horses were then reunited with their owners with a little help from the community and some officers from the Leesburg Police Department.
LCAS said anyone with livestock is encouraged to register for Operation: Protect Livestock , which notifies owners if their animals get lost and are found wandering in the roadway…
