ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WBFF) — Maryland’s governor and two of the state’s elected rural county sheriffs have differing opinions about a pending federal court lawsuit that could grant an out-of-state power line developer access to private property.
The sheriffs of Carroll and Frederick Counties announced earlier this week that their agencies and deputies would not assist Public Service Enterprise Group (PSEG) in escorting its employees and contractors onto potentially impacted property within the proposed construction zone for the 70-mile Maryland Piedmont Reliability Project (MPRP).
