Teachers hailed as heroes in Fairfax school stabbing, sparking call for security upgrades

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (7News) — A call for action is emerging from a Fairfax County School Board member after a 16-year-old was stabbed during a fight at West Potomac High School.

“It’s traumatizing, and that kind of trauma is preventable,” said Mateo Dunne, the Mount Vernon District Representative.
