LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. ( DC News Now ) — Several roadways in the South Riding area were shut down Monday morning as crews worked to fix a gas leak.
In a post on X just after 10 a.m., Loudoun County fire officials said crews were on the scene of an outside gas leak in the area of South Riding Boulevard and Defender Drive.
The gas company was also on site, assessing the extent of the leak.
Fire officials urged drivers to follow police direction in the area. As of Monday morning, it is unclear what caused the gas leak…
