PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. ( DC News Now ) — A woman was arrested and charged in connection with an attempted stabbing in Prince William County on Monday, police said.
Officers responded just before 5:30 p.m. to the 3400 block of Melrose Avenue in Triangle to investigate a domestic incident.
A preliminary investigation revealed that a 28-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman were in an altercation that escalated. The woman was then accused of retrieving a knife and attempting to cut the victim multiple times. The two reportedly knew each other.
