Washington (7News) — A Landover man has been sentenced to 16 years in prison for a series of armed and attempted armed robberies.
U.S. District Judge Theodore D. Chuang sentenced James Kareen Day, 43, to 16 years in prison followed by five years of supervised release. The alleged crimes took place in businesses across Howard, Montgomery, and Prince George’s counties in Maryland.
According to Day’s guilty plea, between December 2022 and February 2023, he committed three armed robberies and four attempted armed robberies.
