Man arrested in Prince William County after shooting at neighbor’s vehicle, police say

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — A man is being held without bond after he was accused of shooting at his neighbor’s vehicle on Tuesday, police said.

Shortly after 5 p.m., officers responded to the 15000 block of Fells Bridge Place in Haymarket to investigate a shots-fired call. The investigation revealed a man had spoken to a neighbor at their residence before going to get a gun, police said.

The man, identified as 53-year-old Francis Thornton, was accused of firing multiple rounds into the neighbor’s empty vehicle before going back into his home.
