While c-store chains regularly enter new states, Millwood Market is making a larger leap than most. The Virginia location it’s building is nearly 300 miles away from its current stores in Millwood and Manhasset, New York. It’s looking to bring an upscale feel and will “offer a wide variety of locally produced grab & go snacks, meals, coffee and much more,” according to its website.
In addition to the 12,000-square-foot store, the Manassas site is expected to have a drive-thru, a bike rack and repair station, and a separate landscaped area with outdoor seating, according to the planning board documents.
