Firefighters, police investigating fatal fire in Leesburg

LEESBURG, Va. (DC News Now) — Officials are investigating a deadly fire that happened on Wednesday in Leesburg.

The Loudoun County Combined Fire and Rescue System (LCFRS) said just after 11:30 p.m., firefighters received reports of a car that was on fire in the 200 block of West Market Street.

The reports said the car was fully engulfed and it was parked next to a single-family home. When crews got to the scene, the fire had spread to the second floor of the house.
