GAITHERSBURG, Md. (DC News Now) — The Gaithersburg Police Department is investigating after two people were injured during an assault on Saturday.
Police say the incident occurred on Bureau Drive just before 7 p.m. when a group of four to six people assaulted two adults.

According to police, the victims sustained blunt force trauma from the encounter.
