WorldPride underway in DC for first time

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — As Washington, D.C., hosts WorldPride for the first time, Mayor Muriel Bowser welcomed the world to the District at the Rubell Museum on Saturday night.

“D.C. has long been a leader in the fight for LGBTQ rights in the world,” Bowser said. “We’re proud to welcome the world to our city.”
