Firehook crackers recalled in Connecticut for potentially mislabeling allergen

Firehook Artisan Baked Classic Sea Salt Crackers were recalled on May 30 due to potentially being mislabeled and not stating that they contain sesame, Firehook of Virginia announced.

The products were sold in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Virginia.

Individuals who consume the products who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to sesame “run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction,” according to the announcement. No illnesses have yet been reported in connection with the recall, the announcement added…
