After filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization last week, retailer At Home announced the company will be closing 26 “underperforming” stores nationwide, including Manassas and Leesburg locations.
The home decor stores at Manassas Mall and Compass Creek in Leesburg are set to close by the end of September, with sales now underway of all inventory, fixtures and equipment, according to Hilco Consumer, which has been retained to manage the store closings.
“Shoppers can expect truly incredible savings on a massive inventory of home furnishings and decor,” said a spokesperson for the joint venture said in a news release. “From wall art and rugs to patio furniture and kitchen essentials, everything must go — and prices have been reduced across the board.”…
