“You don’t really need the expensive products for your hair because technically your hair’s dead,” Andricosky said.
She recommends avoiding the cheapest drugstore shampoos and conditioners but says high-end brands aren’t necessary either. Instead, opt for trusted, mid-range products that are gentle and effective.
