‘I really fear for my son’: Family leaves Loudoun Co. after LCPS locker room investigation

ASHBURN, Va. (7News) — For months now, 7News has been reporting on the sexual harassment investigation by Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) stemming from comments allegedly made by three high school boys about being uncomfortable with a female student who identifies as male using the boys’ locker room at Stone Bridge High School.

Now, one of those families is leaving Virginia because of how their son is being treated by the school district.

“I’m glad to leave the school. I am,” Renae Smith, the mother of one of the boys, told 7News. “I really fear for my son.”…
