ARLINGTON, Va . (7News) — 7News has discovered Dominion Energy is back cutting down trees along the historic Washington and Old Dominion Trail in Virginia.
I-Team Investigator Scott Taylor first exposed the energy company’s plan to clear-cut 36 miles of trees, including many in people’s backyards. Then Dominion paused the cutting, but it’s now back at it.
Over the next few weeks, Dominion plans to cut down 132 more trees along the historic 46-mile Washington and Old Dominion Trail, which spans three counties in Virginia.
That’s on top of the 374 trees it has already cut down…
