Eduardo Valdivia, a federal agent, has been convicted on six counts of second-degree rape and two counts of fourth-degree sexual offense by a jury, according to the Montgomery County State’s Attorney Office. The jury reached its decision after deliberating for just over three hours. Valdivia’s sentencing hearing is scheduled for October 14 at 1:30 pm.
The charges against Valdivia stem from incidents reported in late 2024. In November of that year, the Montgomery County Police Department’s Special Victims Investigations Division arrested Valdivia, who was then 40 years old and residing in Gaithersburg. Along with his role as a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Valdivia owned a tattoo studio named DC Fine Line Tattoos, located in the 9800 block of Washingtonian Boulevard in Gaithersburg.
The allegations were brought forward by two women who reported being raped inside the tattoo studio. The first victim, in October 2024, claimed she had been assaulted by a man known to her as “Lalo Brown.” A second victim came forward in November with a similar account of sexual assault. Both women alleged they were lured to the studio under the guise of modeling opportunities with Exeter Models, believing they were in communication with a woman.
