MCFRS: Multiple people rescued after being trapped in floodwater

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — The Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS) rescued multiple people from cars submerged in floodwater Saturday.

MCFRS states that between 5 and 7 p.m., crews responded to roughly 100 calls in regards to flooding.

According to MCFRS, crews were dispatched around 5:20 p.m. to reports of a driver stranded in floodwater near Cedar and Philadelphia Avenue…
