Maryland State Police arrest Reisterstown man in I-695 road rage shooting

BALTIMORE, MD – Maryland State Police have arrested a Reisterstown man for attempted murder and other charges stemming from an alleged road rage shooting on I-695 in June.

Jamar Brooks, 33, was taken into custody on Tuesday and faces charges including attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault, and illegal possession of a firearm due to a prior conviction. Brooks is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.

The arrest follows an investigation into a June 16 incident on the inner loop of I-695 near Washington Boulevard.
