Bullet strikes vehicle in Germantown; investigation underway

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Montgomery County police are investigating after a bullet struck a vehicle in Germantown on Saturday night.

Officers discovered the vehicle had been hit after responding to a reported shooting in the area of Beehive Lane and Brandermill Drive just minutes after 8 p.m., according to the Montgomery County Department of Police. This is in a residential area.

It is unclear if anyone was inside the vehicle at the time of the shooting; however, no one was hurt. As of Sunday morning, police have not made any arrests in connection with the incident.
