5 rescued from SUV swept into a creek in Arlington

ARLINGTON COUNTY, Va. (7News) — First responders rescued five people on Saturday after a car was swept away by water near Lubber Run Park, according to Arlington County Fire officials.

The car had tried to cross a bridge that had a creek flowing over it and was pulled in by the current. Firefighters said no one was injured during the rescue and reminded drivers not to cross moving water…
