Six Maryland women arrested in Norwood break-in, suspected of multi-state burglary ring

NORWOOD — Six women from Maryland were arrested on July 25 following a reported daytime break-in at a residence on Neponset Street, according to the Norwood Police Department.

The suspects—identified as Mirabela Caldarau, 42; Jajela Chiciu, 41; Flavia Caldararu, 22; Emilia Sardaru, 36; Mihaela Ion, 33; and Elizabeth Sardaru, 21—were each charged with breaking and entering during the daytime for a felony, conspiracy, possession of burglarious instruments, and resisting arrest.
