FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (7News) — Fairfax County Public Schools has an active job posting for a new bodyguard for Superintendent Michelle Reid, a job opening that has raised concerns in a school district that recently faced a $121 million budget shortfall.
A spokesperson for the school district did not respond to questions from 7News about whether the hiring was a direct response to any security threats to Reid. Fairfax County Police also did not respond Monday to questions about whether any threats had been made against Reid.
