LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — The Loudoun County Animal Services is inviting kids to partake in its “Scales and Tales” event.
On Aug. 13 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., children and their parents are invited to come to the shelter, located at 42225 Adoption Dr., to make a necklace pendant with snake skin.
Three DMV dogs nominated for Hero Dog Award
The children are also welcome to meet some of the reptilian friends at the shelter and hear from a Humane Law Enforcement Officer about their work with reptiles and other wildlife.
