Fairfax Co. schools superintendent to have up to four-person security detail

FAIRFAX, Va. (7News) — Fairfax County Public Schools Superintendent Michelle Reid will soon have a security detail that will include up to four full-time security staffers, offering her day and night coverage, according to internal emails reviewed by the 7News I-Team and a source, who is assigned to the district’s Gatehouse Administration Center.

“I think to have four people assigned to her full-time, the amount of money is just insane,” the source told 7News, “None of us have heard of any threats.”
