Updated: There was a heavy law enforcement response at the McKimmey Boat ramp along Lovettsville Road on Thursday where an individual was inside a car possibly with a weapon.
The response, which included SWAT, crisis negotiators and drones began before 4 p.m. Aug. 7. Crews cleared the scene just before midnight.
The Sheriff’s Office declined to comment or provide additional information about the situation…
