More than 12,700 tickets, warnings issued in Fairfax County in 1 week of ‘Road Shark’ campaign

WASHINGTON — Wave Four of Fairfax County’s Road Shark program yielded more than 12,700 tickets and warnings – including more than 750 speeding and 244 reckless driving citations, the department announced this week.

The new phase of the campaign registered a significant boost over Wave Three, which produced 8,433 tickets and warnings.
